Medical Excellence
Sir Run Run Shaw Hospital (SRRSH) is a JCI-accredited Grade III-A hospital directly affiliated with Zhejiang University School of Medicine. Founded in 1994 with a donation from Hong Kong media magnate Sir Run Run Shaw and built in collaboration with Loma Linda University Medical Center (USA), SRRSH was designed from the ground up to meet international hospital standards. The hospital is nationally ranked for minimally invasive surgery, hepatobiliary surgery, and emergency medicine. It pioneered the "SRRSH Model" of hospital management, which emphasizes patient-centered care, transparent pricing, and international collaboration — a model now studied by hospitals across China. SRRSH features 2,400 beds, advanced surgical robotics, and comprehensive diagnostic imaging. Its international patient center provides full English-language services, direct insurance billing, and has extensive experience serving patients from across Asia and beyond.
